Working with Kelly Clarkson was one of the great honors of my career.
We teamed up on the vitaminschool contest — a $100,000 program built around teaching people that what you drink matters as much as what you eat — and together we helped shape the pink vitaminwater formula. Kelly is exactly who you hope she'll be: funny, grounded, wildly talented, and genuinely curious about how the body works. She asked real questions, and she cared about the answers.
Looking back, that project was a signpost I didn't recognize at the time. Standing in a kitchen with Kelly, talking about how a single glass could carry something useful to the body, planted the idea I would eventually build on my own: Zero Hunger Water® — water with the three minerals that quiet hunger during a fast.
So thank you, Kelly. You were my inspiration without either of us knowing it.
